  • My First Business

    I'm 19, fresh-faced, and diving headfirst into the world of Cosmetology. Intense hustle mode and building my clientele from the ground up.

    By 2013, my schedule behind the chair was booked solid with a full calendar of loyal clients. And then it changed…

  • A New Baby

    I was blessed with my first baby. Suddenly, I'm craving more than just endless hours behind the chair and professional satisfaction. I needed more intentional time, momma-style. What resulted from using my camera to capture the precious fleeting moments of my little one became something I was known for; a “thing” I did; but I wasn’t a “photographer” yet, nor did I come by it naturally.

  • Pivot

    What started as a side hustle for family and friends quickly snowballed into a powerhouse passion and business. I honed my expertise on photographing families at first, then seniors, couples, and eventually, I'm the sole photographer at high-end weddings and swoon-worthy elopements.

  • Leveling Up

    Then it happened: around the five-year mark, I hit a wall. My biz was booming, but it was sucking the life out of me and I had another newborn.

    Enter: the hustle for balance.

    I went full-on boss mode, optimizing everything in my biz. From software to knowledge, systems and strategy; I was on a mission to reclaim my time by finding smarter ways to work. And guess what? I freed up valuable time for what truly matters. By year seven, I had optimized my workflows and systems and was spending HALF the time inside my business and achieving more financial success.

  • Full House + Growing Business

    Amidst caring for my newborn, I embarked on a journey of mentoring photographers—a passion I've wanted to pursue for some time. Little did I know the immense joy it would bring and the profound realization of the art of teaching. Until 2024, mentoring was offered on a referral basis only. Today, it has blossomed into an endeavor I adore, connecting with fellow creatives and striking a delightful balance between empathy and professional guidance. Excited for the future and the paths it may unveil!
